We believe that God wired us to ask this question. And we believe that he speaks to us in stories. The Bible, God‘s Word, is a book of real-life stories. But it‘s more than that. It‘s the book of The Story, the gospel of Jesus Christ. It‘s the book of our story–why and how we were created, what went wrong, and how God himself–the author–came into the story and died for the ones he loves.
The gospel is the story your children were created to hear. The Bible is the book they should read if they want to hear it. But this book is no ordinary storybook. It was written by many men, over thousands of years, in languages and places and times that are foreign to us. You don‘t just read this book once and then move on. This book takes a lifetime to learn.
The Disciple Curriculum will help you become a gospel storyteller to your children. It will help you to open the Scriptures with them so that they can know the story, the God who is writing it, and the Christ who makes it all end happily for-ever after.
